Headed out to a new property to see if i could help a buddy out with some yote problems. First set had a creek at my back overlooking a little field leading to a big clear cut. About 4 mins in i hear footsteps behind me and turn to see a yote trotting off the ridge headed right at my back. Tried to turn while it had its head down crossing the creek but i wasnt quick enough and was busted and the yote took off. It entered the field about 10 ft from me full bore. Was trying to pick it up in the scope when she caught sight of the decoy and came to a stop at 40 yds. One quick shot from the 204 and she was done. On the second setup the bluejays were tracking something heading my way but i never did get a look at it. Made a few more sets without any luck and called it a day.
