I was beginning to give up on my foothold traps, figured that I wasnt doing something right.

After getting my bait snatched from one of my field sets, I arranged some sticks around the back side and force the yote to come in on the trap side.

Got a young male, not the giant black one's I was after, but theres always tommorrow!

Very nice! What kind of traps are you using? I need to get a few myself and give it a try this year. I've mostly stuck to coons for the last couple years. Just a management tool for me.

I can't remember the brand but they are #3 offset with the rubber jaws, these have 2 springs.

I was a little worried about a big coyote pulling out of the jaws but this one wasn't going anywhere. I was pretty impressed with how it held.
