I was fortunate enough to find some birds the other day out in a field. I snuck down the levy of our pond and set up a few hundred yards away. Made a few calls and one started heading my way. I was laying on my side waiting for him to get in range. About that time I hear footsteps coming over the levy. Another long beard walks down the levy 7 steps behind me. I rolled over and the rest is history! That's the closest I've ever been to one. Can't wait to do it again!
