wow what a stud!!! big old mature whitetail right there...and i would say thats a good sign seeing him moving in the daytime all of the sudden, what you should be asking yourself is WHY he made this decision...could be the key piece of info that gets you the encounter you need to seal the deal! good luck

The only thing different that I know of is they are cutting corn in the fields around us. Not sure if that got him moving during the day or not.
