Went out today to the range in Franklin to confirm POI at 30,40 and 50 yards. I've been primarily shooting 20 yards in the backyard.

I wanted to be sure my left and right misses were comparable at longer distances. Although I will be hunting in the woods I've got a couple open spots where a 40 yard shot is a possibility. Everything looked good and I've already confirmed my POI is the same on Grim Reaper Hybrids as my field points.

I'm ready, just need to keep shooting my 8-12 arrows a day to stay sharp.

Just two weeks from Saturday!

it's weird how my shooting got worse with 12 shots a day, I dont know, long as I can hit the vitals I guess. Sounds like you are set to kill, I look forward to seeing the damage those hybrids do

Repetive use fatigue or injury is what some shooters say decreases there accuracy when the shoot a pre-season series. I know if I shoot 15 at a time my shots get shaky and sloppy.

Happy hunting, sounds like your lethal :)

Glad I shoot year round. Fatigue sets in around 50-60 arrows lol

Wow I was having trouble with my log in and by the time I logged I saw this.

I was going to post the same thing. My semi daily routine is a volly of 25 to 40 arrows. Sometimes more if I am feeling giddy .

Right now I've cut WAY back on the amount I shoot. This time of year it's "one shot" that counts. I take more time than usual on each shot when I practice. I try to visual that spot just above the crease in a deer's leg where the top of a deer's heart is located. I want to hit that spot everytime. I almost exclusively shoot at a 3D target right now.
