no more tests,,final load will be seated at 2.870 with 42.0 grs H4350 and CCI BR4 primers,,dope matches the chronie really well at 3,000 fps,,it is probablly pretty good pressure but the Lapua brass and the small primers along with a fantastic chamber job I am not seeing any pressure signs or losing primer pockets,,
this will probably be the last test target for group,,any targets going forward will be for score or just for hit or miss on steel,,
bullet, case ,and design has come a long ways in the last 10 years,,you can now shoot at range in the wind with 130 gr bullets and 45 gr or less of powder and shoot with people that 10-15 years ago would have to have 175-220 grs bullet and 80+ grs powder to run side by side with these new rounds,,
just compare the 130 Berger VLD with BC of .550 at 3000 fps with 42 grs powder against a 300 Win Mag and you will find you have to run up around 190 gr bulles or more to match the BC and it takes a stiff load to run 190`s at 3000 in a Win Mag,,
final test target,,I believe if I shot this target again with all 30 rounds at 2.870 that the average would be under .300,,and with a rest instead of the bipod it might sneak in under .250
