Was Wondering if this is a suitable powder for a optima , I have been reeading up on it After i went to the Range I could get on paper after three shots. I bought the gun off here and it was included with it. i was shooting the TC shockwaves 250gr anythoughts on what might need to change, different loose powder , different bullet. I friend of mine shoots the PB platinums , with 150 of 777 pellets and swears by it

Don't know how far you were shooting but I would start close and work my way out in distance. Even if it not the best load for you gun you should be able to get close to bullseyes. If it is new to me I start at 25 yards and have even had to get closer.

I would give the 777 Magnum pellets a try. I would not shoot more than 100 grains loose FFFG, it burns alot hotter than FFG. 100 grain loose FFFG is basically a magnum charge.
