I grew up fishing Ft Loudon and Tellico lakes and moved away almost 20 years ago. I did some fishing down there during the past few weeks and I was amazed at how FEW other fishermen I saw. We did some night fishing till about 1:30 am and we were the only boat on the lake 3 different nights.

Do any of you old timers think there are as many people bass fishing NOW as there was back in the day?

I does appear that the jetski and ski boat population has grown however.

I don't know anything about Tellico, but that seems to be the trend here on Tims Ford...

It's not safe to be on the water here during the summer months from all these drunks partying on ski boats and jet skis all over the place. Night or day.

i also grew up on ft. loudon lake. try it on a weekend. you won't see any lack of fishermen.it is a constant parade down the banks. my boat stays in the yard on summer weekends.

less fishing at night. A lot more on thelakes during the daytime around here and the pleasure boats have increased 100%
