I was wandering if anyone fertilizes any of their white oak trees? What fertilizer do you use and when and how you apply it? I see more deer under my fertilized trees.

triple 10.
Take a heavy pole and make holes in the ground, around the drip line, and fill them up with triple 10

I saw a guy on hgtv who said that soil micro bacteria were the most effective way to fertilize a tree. I think it would be worth looking into.

I have never fertilized any trees but was thinking about doing it this year. What size holes do you make and how deep do you make them? When is the best time do it? Sorry about taking over your post AllOutdoors

it don't really matter about the holes as long as they are deep enough so fertilizer want runoff after a rain. I put a couple pounds on the larger trees.
