I have just completed the no till planting of my corn. My soil sample is calling for 100 lbs of nitrate and 50 lbs of potash per acre. Since I have done a no till application, will I be wasting my money applying the fertilizer? Will the fertilizer absorb into the soil properly since the ground is firm?

I had considered maybe even trying a nitrogen application with spray once the corn is up a little to get the nitrogen. Address the potash issue next year.

Also, at what PH do you make the decision to go ahead and apply lime. Below 6?

Thanks.

soil sample should have told you what to do on lime
Yeah, I was 6.3 on one field and it said no on lime. But that is a decent amount away from 7. I think I am going to lime it when I lime some of my other fields early next year to get them all in one run.
