The other 2 guys on my lease are wanting to run a corn feeder year round. They plan on hunting at least 250 yards away and not shooting into that 250 yard radius. The problem I see with there plan is that the feeder is on the 4wheeler trail in the middle of our property and to access the stands on the back half you would have to drive or walk right past the feeder. Even if the weapons were unloaded on the trip in and out this seems like it could still be considered hunting.

Just needing a little clarification. I'm opposed to the idea myself, and am hoping to be able to change there minds.

Driving past it with an unloaded gun wouldn't be an issue.

Running a feeder shuts down approximately 41 acres of land to ANY hunting (each), so I would question the value of that.
