Feedback Wanted on S&W 638

I'm looking to buy a carry gun. I have decided I really like the Smith & Wesson Model 638

Anybody know any specific reason this would NOT be a good choice?

I like the 442 better,,black is easier to hide and I like the DAO hammerless outline better,,but having the option to shoot a well aimed round single action has it`s merits also,,

every red blooded American should have at least one J frame 38.

I have been carrying my 638 for 10 years now in a Desantis speed scabbard. It is an excellent choice, and I like the ability to shoot single action if needed.

I carry either a 442 or a 640 as a backup. Any of the J frame Smiths are great! You would be amazed how accurate those little guns can be if you take the time to get to know them. Get you some Speer Gold Dot 125 grain JHP's for it and you will be good to go.
