Have seen 15+ live deer in the last week and none looked pregnant, seen spikes on the last 1 crossing the road, all looked like last years hatch

Depends on location in this state. we are on the alabama line in lawrence and wayne counties and mid june usually starts it off and then thru july. that is the largest drop times with some on either side of that parameter. Gestation is 180 to 200 days so that plays in some also.

Usually late June for me. I do have a fat doe that looks like she's ready to pop hanging out in the backyard. She's probably staging for a birth.

I've got at least three pregnant doe hanging around my place here in Lincoln county. They look like they're gonna drop any time.

I nearly ran one over end of last week in Putnam. It was decent sized and was able to run well. I saw another very newly born in Dickson county this week- still had that "drunk spider" run.

Had two newborns next to my fence the other evening in the tall grass and I only spotted them cause my Labrador walked right up to them and started to wag its tail, I'm assuming he thought they were funny looking dogs but fortunately he's not a killer and so old that he surely isn't chasing anything but I was waiting on momma to come out of nowhere and beat the stew out of him but he just carried on to the pond.

Thanks Still seeing 2 that's getting close to dropping but haven't yet n 1 that may have but haven't seen any fawns yet, but am looking for.

not see any in upper E TN yet. I have a doe that I've seen the last couple days at my house that is about to pop. I thought she was a buck cause her size. feed almost 2 hrs on the new grass i have coming up in a new area of the yard. Hope she has some fawns that make it. I have a huge issue with coyotes in my neighborhood.

June 12th last year on one spot i hunted. I found a quarter sized deer track is the way i discovered the drop. Also this year i found another deer track that size june 1. I try to get out and try to find fawn tracks to time rut in my areas.

just saw this one across my driveway, can you see it? he was stumbling around the field and momma was nudging him around. neighbor cut his field getting ready for their shindig. 2 does only one fawn. hope the turkeys hatched already.

Know what you mean on the song dogs..

About 5 yrs ago give or take.. I killed the last deer I have been able to get .Since then n with a couple of bad EHD out breaks..Both Deer n Turkeys disappeared around here.. Now both are back around.
Have seen song dogs coming through hit n miss hope it stays that way.

Does have began dropping all over my area. June is most always peak and normally sees 99% of all our fawns dropped here in East TN.
