Whats everones favorite load for duck hunting? Regular season not early?

Budget: Kent Fasteel 3.5" #3 load. Will take down anything I shoot at and at a great price.

My favorite load hands down is Black Cloud #4 shot. I shot federal premium before it came out and that stuff is just bad through my maxxus and choke.

Used to shoot hevimetal 3" #3s for a while but that got expensive when I started hunting divers and sea ducks in the Chesapeake Bay. Switched to federal speed shock, 3.5" #2s

1.25oz Heavy Steel 3 inch #3 is my favorite I've shot outta my gun. I'll be burning some winchester 3 inch #1's this year cause I go a deal on them as closeouts last year.

1-3/8 bb's 3-1/2. like an old-timer once told me you can kill them with bb's at 10 yards or 50 yards , wont happen with small shot. Lots cripples

For ducks I like Fiocchi speed steel 3" 1 1/8 oz #3.
Next would be Federal 3" 1 1/4 #1 this load will work on geese in a pinch.

Kent silver steel 1 1/2 oz of BB.... definitely less cripples. 1 3/8 is a solid 3 inch option.

I quit shooting bb at ducks after a green wing teal soaked up 2 of them from inside 25 yards and fly out of sight. I'll take pattern density over pellet size.

Unfortunately, my favorite is too expensive to shoot every hunt. 1oz of TSS 9 1/2's from my beretta A400 28gauge. Shot both ducks and geese with it. Nothing survives it. It's like throwing a cast net........

In a field 3 inch number 2's

In flooded timber (which is where I hunt 99% of the time) 2.75 #4's

I like to get em close enough to shoot with my little pump 20 with #6's sometimes too.

heavy steel 3" #3 if they need full choke, same thing in 3 1/2" if needing modified. patternmaster code black duck tube. same tube , different choke depending on shell size according to manufacture

You could read the paper through Teal I see hit with BB's!!! They are so small and soft idk how one could ever survive even 1 pellet. Now the odds of hitting one with 3's or 4's is a lot better.....
