Does t look like any rain in my parts for a while, dont know when I should plant, dont want to wait too long but dang if there ain't no rain what do you do??

Gotta wait for a high probability of rain. I've made the mistake of planting on or before labor day when I had free time assuming it would rain within a week only to have my hard work and money go down the drain.

I've waited until the second week of October before because of drought/availability. If i'm not mistaken wheat and rye will grow as long as it's above freezing. Germination won't be as good but it beats having to re-sow.
