i have scheduled the week of sept. 12-17 off for a pre-deer season saltwater fishing trip. still debating on nags head(leaning heavily this way) and orange beach.

if you have hopes of keeping eatable fish ck really good as the rules change daily on what you can keep

Always wanted to try it I'm here at the beach now dont know the rates or outfitters close though?

check out the state park pier. lots of fun with spanish mackerels, bluefish,trout... you don't have to go on a boat to catch some good fish.

I'd suggest one of those Florida beaches. Like Pensacola Beach. :D

Go to Topsail Beach in North Carolina. And then tell me how the fishing is. I'll be going there sometime in the fall.

I was in P'cola, (where I had lived for 10 years), opening week of snapper season. Great fishing. Pretty disappointed though as FL had decided this year to close grouper and AJ season on June 1st, the day snapper season started.

I'll be in Destin the weekend of bow opener(for a wedding). I was there in April and went out on a charter with The Finest Kind. Since I knew I was going to be back I was asking him about the fishing in late Sept. He said come back and book a trolling trip for tuna

Bowtch.. Book the Tuna trip!! You will love it but make sure you are in shape to handle them..This one weighed 202 and took a bit longer then 2 and a Half hours to land..Was dog tired when finished..Sold at 18 bucks a pound and that ain't to shabby..
