Fall Creek Falls

Anyone hunt it this year? I wasn't able to this year. Love that place and some monsters there. Gotta put the steps in to find the big ones.

Never hunted over there but have been considering buying some hunting land in that area. Acreage seems reasonable.

We used to hunt it almost every year, but haven't for about five or six years now. I really like that area, and enjoy the hunt. I'm planning on making it back over there in the next couple of years for sure.

Hunted there years ago before better deer were easier to find elsewhere. During archery season that place is copperhead central! The first time one struck my boot it hung a fang, thats when I learned to dance! Thats where I learned to step on a deadfall not over it. Its also why my bow hunting boots are snake boots to this day! It was common to encounter 5 to 7 adult copperheads per visit. Its a nice place in cold weather...

You are totally correct sir! We were fishing one summer out there and a storm was coming in so we docked at one of the shelters out towards the middle of the lake. Before we could get to the shelter, only 20 yards from the bank, we found 5 copperheads! Back in the boat we went!

I hunted it the first 3 days. Seen some deer just nor what i was looking for. I know deer numbers are way down from just a few years ago.
