Fall Creek Falls lake info?

Hey I'm heading to FCF lake fishing with lures and was wondering if anyone had any info like what have the bass been biting on? Are they deep or shallow? Areas of the lake that are generally better than otgers?

I was there about 2 weeks ago, caught a limit of bream and about 6 bass. All were released. Caught them mostly on Beatles pins. A couple on top water

Usually catch them good on a 7" powerbait power worm in watermelon. There's a ledge parallel to the dock about 25' out from it. I get on the deep side and cast to shallow, and they pick it up on the ledge.

You can always throw a bream colored crank bait down the riprap at the dam and catch some. All that to say, I don't think I've ever caught one over 2 pounds there

Do they still allow snagging for paddle bill below the dam? Lost a few setups there 30 years ago or so.

I believe you are thinking of Great Falls at Rock Island. No, snagging has been outlawed many years there.
