I just saw where Mariota is inactive.Hmmmmm. Zack Mettenberger is a good QB. Mariota may not get back in as the starter this year. :tu:

Mett was the starter last year. If he was that good MM wouldn't have take. His spot. Try harder :rotf:

so true. mariota sprained mcl after the illegal (and fined) hit.i don't think mariotas job is in jeopardy even if he they win by 50. just protecting the rookie of the yr until he can move around again.

on a serious note, the nil trade deadline in Nov 3rd. Hearing that the redskins are gonna make a move for Met. praying he has a good game. One more sex offender out of TN and maybe a 2nd round pick for him. good deal.

probably true. The titans offense was horrible , but the Defense looked much better. Mariota should be healthy against an easier matchup in Houston

Was at the game today. Mettenberger made the receivers earn their money today. He threw over their heads, in front of them, behind them, at their ankles. Every where but at the numbers. And he had receivers all day. When they did get the ball they had to concentrate so hard on catching it they couldn't even attempt to do anything else.

The defensive line was manhandled all day. Freeman should have had 2x as many yards as he did.

You can talk about bad coaching all day but you have to lay some of it at the players feet.
