I thought about taking the 6.5 CM, but I've never shot F class comp before, so not sure I know enough to even get started LOL

I shoot FTR mid range and long range. I wish it was closer and not during the rut but some day I'd like to shoot there. Keep posting the matches if you can and come on to Memphis and shoot with us.

Are those the only two categories in F class there at CRC? I think I'd have to be in the Field Precision Rifle category if I did enter, if they had one that is.

You would most likely be in F Open looking at what they are running. F-TR is 5.56 and .308 plus lighter weight and some rest restrictions.

Not so sure I'd want to compete against unlimited rifles with my factory rig, but I could give it a shot tho I suppose. :)

If you are available, you should go! Be fun to try something new. Guaranteed to be received with open arms and shown the ropes. Take what you have and go. Shooting mat, bipod, etc.

They would allow you in open class as long as you aren't shooting a muzzle break or suppressor. You would be at a disadvantage however competing with specialized rigs. But, if you wanted the experience it could be lots of fun.
