Ok what is everybody's favorite extra virgin olive oil?

Mine is Columela Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

To me it has a strong olive favor.

I would like to hear about others.

I don't go by brand as much as I do region. Like wine, olives reflect the climate in which they're grown. Spanish oils tend to be more harsh, while Tuscan oils are more fruitful and mild. Greek and Middle Eastern oils tend to be on the harsh and spicier side, as well. And there are now some South American oils coming on the market. I like the lighter flavored ones from Italy. But we've found a fantastic brand sold at Kroger from Chile that's spectacular.

Stayed at a winery in Argentina that made their own olive oil. Pretty good stuff. I just go with the high end that publix carries. Italian shop down the street has some that are probably good, but I ain't paying for it.

If Popeye hadn't tapped her yet, there's gotta be a reason.

Sorry, somebody had to say it.

Don't use olive oil too much. We're more of a butter, grease, lard and coconut oil type of family but like poser said, you got to be careful with your selection.
