bucks can supposedly breed until hormones drop & they lose their antlers. but i've seen deer still carrying antlers clean up till end of turkey season, so...
My friends brother had a video of a buck with no antlers breeding a doe at the end of March one year . Looked kinda funny but it was indeed a buck .
 
Bucks lose their antlers because of a drop in testosterone, but they are not completely lacking in it afterwards. It is then the subsequent increase in testosterone that causes them to start growing new antlers in April. But as far as I know, there is no point where bucks have no testosterone.
 
I've seen a run over buck in mid spring and I remember his nuts being real small. I didn't figure they'd be very fertile, but maybe fertile enough.
