Took the day off from hunting since its so warm and windy,to scout some.Property 1,I found 3 scrapes that wasn't there last week,not real excited about them,because they are in a bad spot,but I belive i can set up on them. Property 2 is the 70 acre big woods tract,that is pretty much 2 big ridges and 2 big hollars.Walked out one of the ridges and right on top was a couple rubs,and then found a fresh scrape,and then found a fresh rub that looked to have been done today,the bark was still green in color from the rubbing.So I walked off the side of the ridge,and it drops down to a bench before hitting the bottom,and right in the middle of that bench,was another nice sized rub about waist high on a white pine.I looked around right there and found me a white oak to climb..I feel really good about this spot,and can not wait until tuesday morning..
