Excalibur String question

Does it not have a mark on the barrel that the string is supposed to come to? I think mine does but they are both older models. You twist the string until when strung, it rests on the mark on the barrel. If it's too short, and comes past the mark, take out a twist and if too long, add.

Super simple look up your bow on Excalibur's website and get the brace hight. It'll be like 2 1/2 to 3 or 3 1/2 to 4 depending on which crossbow you have. I mark mine with a small sharpie on the rail so I know the string is exactly where the factory specs say it should be. If you're shooting your Excalibur a lot and you start zinging them higher chances are your string is stretched a little bit and it'll be too far forward needs a twister to put in it.
