Seems like at one point you could only kill one hooded merganzer

You got it right with the first one, it was back in the point days when a Canvasback was 100 points and a limit. Day nothing was flying and we were ready to pick up for the day when a flock of about a dozen made a pass. I picked out a drake and splashed him down. Wish I would have had the money back then to have it mounted but kid's needs came first.

So my turn? This one will be a little more literary:

What brand of liquor was Capt. Harold Money drinking that Horace so badly wanted to taste?

Was just re-reading this in stand yesterday, while I was hunting in his old stomping grounds across the river.

That would be the old Brooklyn Handicap.

As far as I can find, the brand doesnt exist anymore and no real record of it. Probably some local distillery. But if you could find an old dusty bottle of it in an old man's attic somewhere, I wonder what it would sell for.

Your turn.

Alrighty, here's a biology based question for y'all.

What North American duck is most likely to raise two successful broods of ducklings in one breeding season?
