I've been hunting in Wayne County the past few days and have had a ton of movement in the mornings. However my friend and I have yet to see any movement during the evening hunts. Is anyone else not getting evening movement?

with my new job and now working 2 jobs, I mainly hunt evenings. Seen a big 8 today at 2pm, and a little doe nervously roaming the woods around dusk. The deer are coming out in the evenings as usual, at least where I am at.

Sunday they moved really well from daylight until 8 am. Then they moved really really well when the rain stopped at 3pm. Monday they didn't move much at all. Yesterday they crowded the fields between 1 and 2 pm. Today they stayed within a few yards of their bedding areas until sunset. Thank you mother nature!

Been hunting all week and have seen deer every morning hunt but have yet to see one on an evening hunt at tie camp.

Due to location you are hunting? We are seeing them pretty good mornings and afternoon but not hunting the same location.

Saw 11 Saturday morning, but that was the first morning all year I had seen a deer. All 4 of my kills have been within 20 minutes of sunset on afternoon hunts.

No, even on the same property. I track morning versus evening sighting rates, and have for many years. It's amazing how much they can change from year to year, and as a trend over time. I don't know exactly what drives these changes, but I bet some of it has to do with changes in habitat over time.

I'm up from south ga hunting tie camp and Arnold hollow in wayne county. I change locations each hut but still haven't seen a deer in the evening. I try to hug the thick pines in the evenings.
