Euro mounting

I am wanting to mount some euro mounts on TN state outlined plates/boards. I'd like to find 1/8 steel plasma cut but don't have any friends that cut, and work wouldn't allow it. I thought about getting a 1x8 board and router it. Anyone done anything like this?

Haven't done euro mounts but have done turkeys.

I used a cutting board once. A local store had them for like $20 and perfect size so I bought one to try. Worked well without me doing hardly any work.

Been wanting to do that for my euro's and shoulder mounts and turkey fans.. Need TN and IL.

Made them years ago. Got the state outline from internet. Blew it up on a larger size paper. Traced that to a piece of thin cardboard. Cut it out and did a little sanding. Routered the edge. Finished it then placed a taxidermy hanger on the back. Here's what the back looks like.

I have the skull hangers. I use those now on distressed wood I cut and finished for the euros and fans...

Yes thanks! Those are cool for sure and I'll probably get some for the deadheads I euro and hang outside. For my kills, I just want the wooden state shaped plaque.

Gotcha. They also have wooden pedestal style state plaques. You might call them and ask if they can be used without the piece that makes them a pedestal and just hang flat in wall .

Actually I do not. At one time had about 20 and 6 different states. Took up way too much room. Got rid of most and kept some. Now my spurs and beards with the shell are like this. Most hooks have two beards

Cheap sander and jigsaw. Pretty simple, a router ain't that easy to run free handed starting out
