Emotional day

Sotting here just got done cleaning the deer rifles. Season is threw and ive got that depressed feeling in my stomache. I dont know what ill do with my time for the next 9months. Was a good run anyways with 3 deer down so i cant complain. Howd yall do? Anyone else got the same feeling tonight?

Middle gun is a remington 700 bdl in 270. Its been my luck rifle since i was 13.

I cleaned mine pretty much the same way...laid em out and promised to shoot more this year. Hoppes oil smells better before the season than after!

Backwoods...... thats funny you say that, because I too have that weird depressed, sad, sick feeling in my stomoch. lol. because I really enjoy hunting deer. I love to fish too, but deer hunting tops it all to me.

Just about the only reason to live in CA is once deer season is over you can blast piggies until next deer season.

i plan on hunting hard the last week of the season but on my way to my ground blind last wed, my back went out, but had my best season here in tn, since i moved here i saw deer on every hunt and took 2 bucks,
