Best I can tell from Yelp it's been open about a year.

Its a small place, with a small menu. I love these type of family owned places. Only about 20-25 tables on the high end of "moderately priced" restaurants. Don't let the exterior fool you, it kinda looks like a former auto-parts store. The inside is quite nice and cozy, well decorated. 3 dining areas with about 6 tables in 2 of them and the remainder in a slightly larger area. After seating, the hostess brought the wife and our little girl each a rose.

The 2 kids and the wife and I paid 54 dollars (before tip)for lunch/brunch. I could see dinner getting more expensive(~30-40$/person) especially with adult beverages...they have a heck of a drink/wine menu. ..we didn't partake for lunch. The service was excellent.

The menu is small(which I really like) and IMO a better deal at lunch but that opinion is just based on the menu...we haven't eaten dinner there yet. We will soon. There are pictures of most of their entrées on yelp linked above.

The 2 kids got steak and fried potato slices, I got the Lobster Eggs Benedict served with hash browns, my wife got the Shrimp and grits. She and I could have shared the Shrimp and grits alone and gotten full. I have had lots of variations of Shrimp and Grits and this was the first one to include fried okra as an ingredient. The steaks were good, but nothing extraordinary. The grits were very good, I think I have only had one serving better in West TN..but Shrimp and Grits are a lot like gumbo or Chili, there are so many variations its hard to compare. I am not going to even try to describe the Benedict. Wow.

I've heard really good things about that place....the dude that owns it is very involved in the table service, from what I recall.

We gave it a try last year for brunch one Sunday. Really limited Menu. MY wife didn't like the shrimp and grits, but my brother loved them. Like you said, so many variations. I want to go back for dinner sometime.
