electric fence for deer

Can anyone confirm the measurements for an electric fence to keep deer out? Its a double fence stytem,the 2 strands run on the inside I think 18" from bottom and then 5' from bottom.The Outer fence I believe is 3 feet away and the strand splits the difference. Can anyone out there confirm this? Do any of you guys have an electric fence to keep deer out?

Yes you are correct. I've done it the same way with one strand on outside and 2 on the inside. I put the outside fence about knee tall. The inside fence I put 3 ft back and top wire about 5 inches above belt Lind and bottom strand 8 inches off ground
