My hunting area has been hit badly by the outbreak this year. For those that lost 50% plus of their population in 2007 do you fell like your population is back to pre out break numbers? If not what percentage would you say you are at now?

no we were hit in 07 and 11 12 my places still aren't 50% of 2006 numbers

EHD can be really location specific as far as how many deer die and can vary greatly. Same goes for recovery numbers, some areas will recover faster than others depending on many things all the way from hunter kill to habitat!

We got hit hard here in 2007 i think the buck count is back up but the doe count never did come back to what it use to be not even close.
