Eggnog 2020

I need to set a reminder for myself to do a batch next September when my neighbor's chickens are still laying. It always gets to this time of year (too late to start) when I remember that I forgot egg nog again. My mom said she was going to start a batch, but it'll still be pretty hot come Christmas.....the longer it sets, the better it gets.
The one time I made it, I did the AB recipe as well. I mixed up Bulleit bourbon, Appleton rum, and RemyXO cognac. Turned out spectacular

I had a recipe that included Southern Comfort which was made into a froth that floated on top. I lost it when I was assigned to Japan and had to move, I wish I could find it again, it was really delicious. Now, I substitute Rum Chata as my holiday drink.
wife does a gallon of boiled custard at thanksgiving and Christmas.
Is there a commercially made eggnog that I should try to get an idea what this stuff is all about?

Fresh Market has the best commercial in my opinion. Can't remember the name of it.
What's the ratio of eggnog to rum? I already have the eggnog; I just need to know how much to add to it.
No, it's all artificial flavors and corn syrup. Completely different realm
It's about a cup of liquor per quart of eggnog
