Eclipse and the Rut!!!

I wonder if it will have an effect on deer? Maybe a late October Rut? Guess I'm just dreaming.

Highly doubt that. I think the rut happens at pretty much the same time every year. What we see in the daylight while hunting will vary a lot more than the actual timing of doe estrus cycles

I'm sure it will affect them in some manner but I'm not sure how it will alter their breeding patterns. Maybe if the eclipse happens in Nov we might get more daylight rutting[emoji14].
We got 200,000 people rolling in to town for the event, so I'm more worried about that than the deer!
