East TN deer processing

I hope to hunt in the Cleveland/Chattanooga area for the firs time during the upcoming season. I have never had the need to get a deer processed in this area. I figure I need to get my ducks in a row in case a miracle happens and I actually kill one locally. Please recommend a processor within 90 minutes of Cleveland, in any direction.

He may be opened but that's a HAUL from Cleveland. You could easily have one done on the tail gate of the truck by the time you made it over to Ross.

X3 on Rogers Processing. Does really great work and all meat is vacuum sealed. That may be a drive for you as mentioned above.

I'm afraid the FDA's crackdown during the pandemic killed them. They were excellent. Vacuum-sealing everything if I recall correctly.

I've used Hampton's in Decatur for a long time. Good folks.

I also recommend Hamptons. Great local people been going there for years and the deer is usually in my freezer within a week of me dropping it off.

I know I looked and they were always needing help. I did use the sale creek deer processing and they did a good job. It's not vacuum sealed but they did a okay job.

Ross Rogers has a very clean butcher shop and he is an excellent taxidermist.
