East tn birds

Wondering what anyone has to say about how the turkey's here in east tn are acting. Only been one morning but saw a gobbler with 3 hens and the whole morning was pretty quite couple gobbles here and there but more so to locator calls than actual calling. Anyone been having better luck getting them to talk? Hope my calling ain't that bad :shock:

Sounds like everyone s having trouble, maybe you guys are not staying out long enough. I was going out the other morning and stopped to talk to a couple guys that were working some cattle .The turkeys were gobbling good up on the ridge at around 11 maybe a little earlier.There were 3 or 4 in different places to, no one hunting in here that I know of.

They have been great in my area, lots of gobbling anytime of the day just about. Several toms breaking away from hens

I think the next week or so will be good... Saw four in the field on the way back to work this morning.
