early weekend hunt

Hunted on fort loudon today in some of the backwaters... Didnt see many ducks. Had four try to land before shooting time, and after shooting time we only saw about 3 more ducks and a coot. We did see some guys blasting at a couple of flocks that were 100 yards high. To no suprise, they didnt bag any either..

We limited out today put 30 ducks in the blind with a few coots.Hunting springville bottoms ready for tom.

sweet dude. I have a baby girl due anyday, so im stuck hunting as close to home as possible... Wish I could go farther away than old fort loudon!

We killed a couple this mornin. Wound up with 3 jacks, 6 mallards, and 1 ruddy duck.

We knew it be a huge differance today than yesterday did not see half as many ducks we still put 18 in the blind tho still a great time.

I am going to hunt Loudon some this year. I usually go in West TN, but they have not water down there right now. They are in a very bad drought.
