That is incredible. Back in the 1970's, I found one eagle caught by his wing on a barbed wire fence in a back pasture while hunting. I tried in vain for several hours to free him. This was a Bald Eagle and he would go bezerk when I got close.
They are much larger than I realized, and intimidating to say the least with their huge talons. Very beautiful bird. He was dead the next morning.
