Has anyone ever tried to dye glyphosate when applying to burn down in prep for cutting ? I always seem to have trouble seeing where I have sprayed and where I have not !

I have and wouldn't recommend it. Simply can't see it and it isn't cost effective. Simply spray on dry dirt and see your length left and right, and don't be sparingly with it - if there is a little overlap, that's fine. Use the dye for hack n squirt and girdling projects instead.

See what your spray width is and go by your tracks in the grass. I don't miss much this way but if I do I come back a week later and get it.

I meant to say that. After you know your width of spray, use that with your "matted down" tire tracks

I could barely see the dye and only when the sun angle was just right. But the dye dyed all my equipment purple permanently!

Tried the dye and you couldn't see it at all it also stained all my equipment and my hands looked like I choked a Smurf after it was all said and done

I've been known to add some dish detergent to my spray. In my mind I could see where I'd been a little better and it adhered better to the weeds. Now, is this scientific….?

I was never able to see where I sprayed. Even tried triple the recommended dose. Very useful for hack and squirt, but not spraying.
