Hey guys, just got off the phone with realtree and Walmart will have the dunstan chestnut trees in a week to two. The locations are now posted.

I have been checking the Franklin walmart every time I go. I guess I will check again next week.

I checked this morning. When I talked to her she said in a week or so. If I see them before you I will let you know. Btw, I'll reply to pm tonight.

Nothing near me,will get a couple from either cookville or Franklin I guess.SS.would that be the Wal mart right off the interstate at hwy 111 ,I think its 111 anyway.

The one off 111 is Algood Walmart. Cookeville Walmart is off of Jefferson Ave.

Didn't I see a price on here somewhere that someone found on them?? It seems like it was going to be cheaper then the web site price.

These are potted in gallon containers, right? What is protocol for planting that size in the spring? I would assume lots of watering would be in order, unfortunately it would be hard to water where I want them planted. Could they be transferred to bigger pots and planted later?

Absolutely. Depending on my schedule I might just do that.

The trees will be available in the Walmart Garden Centers, and retail price will be $24.95, plus the trees will be our 2-year old 3 gallon sized trees. Look for the Realtree Nursery tags and pot wraps to make sure they are our trees!

Because of the dramatic increases in cost of fuel, trucking prices have doubled this spring. This has caused us to cut the stores we are shipping to by half (but doubling the quantity of trees at each store), having to raise the price of the trees. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but the price of fuel is beyond our control! We were fortunate just to be able to go ahead with the delivery, for a while last week we thought we would have to cancel the shipment.
