I'm not sure where Sniper came up with that name, or if I'll ever be able to remember and pronounce it!

I have him the final specs for my rod today. I gave him some room to make his own choices on some colors. It'll be a mostly black 7'9 Heavy rod for pitching jigs. Winn split grip and Fuji micro guides.

Can't wait!

Now I gotta figure out what reel to put on it!

I bought a Chronarch MGL off of the BBCBoards classifieds yesterday. I'll see how it feels on this rod.

I just sold several reels. I'm replacing everything with Shimano.

I'm a lews fan on most setups but they have their limitations. I won't throw a lews with braid or on cranking rods.
