DPMS scope mounts ?

Ok I have never owned a gun like this.
I am going to mount a 50mm obj scope with 1" tube on this rifle.

What do I need in terms of base and rings?

Brands, heights?
I am, as usual, clueless.

I don't want to spend a fortune but I also don't want to worry about it moving.

You should be good with the Burris P.E.P.R. mount. You can get them for $69. It's a very good mount. My 40mm scope clears with ease and a 50 should be fine.

I agree with MODEL70MAN, I put a burris pepr on my dpms and I love it! The alignment with these mounts are perfect

I was going to recomand a LaRue Tactical but then remembered you said you didn't want to spend a fortune so i left it out.

The darn thing cost almsot as much as the gun itself.
