Decent or not? Just looking for a plinker without getting too deep into the black rifle craze. Couple places running specials at $449. Worth the money?

DEFINITELY a good rifle. I own 3 DPMS uppers and they all are under MOA with my handloads. Nice pieces of work.

Dunhams had them $450 for the poly and $500. Bushmaster I believe I seen. Good buy and there worth $800 on various classifieds.

DPMS.Are very good firearms, especially for the price.

I had been contemplating getting one for a long time. I figured between recent events and the likelihood that Hillary gets elected next year, it could be a very long time before I would see those prices again so I went ahead a bit the bullet and got one for $449 at Academy while they still had them. If I am wrong, I still got it dirt cheap. Very solid rifle for the money. I would not hesitate to recommend them or buy another. Just wish they would sell an Ar10 that cheap.
