Found a dpms with 120 rounds of ammo and 6 mags , for $600 guys needing Money . Says he has only shot 100 +\- rounds through it . Is this a good buy ? How do the dpms rank ? Can the upper be changed to a diffrent caliber like the 300 blackout ?

I can only speak for the one that I bought last year. It shoots lights out. My daughter(10 yr old) put two shots in virtually the same hole with it using Hornady ammo just a few weeks ago at 100yds. It's a keeper, and so is she! :)

Yep, a good price-very good. And yes, uppers can be changed.

I started with a DPMS lower with a Del Ton upper. M4 look alike. Shot good but not my style. Swapped my upper for a DPMS Sweet 16 stainless bull free floated upper. I love my rifle now. I blasted 2 liter bottles last weekend out to 500 yards.

DPMS gets a bad rap on some forums. I think it's mostly from guys that run theirs until the barrel glows. I couldn't ask for better performance from mine.

Be careful... it's a highly addictive rifle. Soon you'll be dreaming of ways to make it unique.
