For y'all that use the dps, which brands work best for ya? I'm tired of these coons robbin min and the dang things not goin off. I forget what brand they are. I know I got the cheaper ones off amazon.
Thanks for any input.

Also seen a first for me this a.m. only a foot was left in my coil spring. I know yotes will eat their foot off to get out of a trap, but never seen/ heard of a coon doin it.

I use dukes and the work great and are cheap. A little but of marshmallow or honey bun and they're good to go.

I bought the original little griz getter.. been catching coon for years with them.. you'll have more coon twist there foot off than you will coyote.. make sure you have plenty of swivels on your coil spring traps

I use Duke DP's. There are many good brands though. If your traps are empty and have not gone off. It could be a mouse robbing it. Put a golf ball on top or a plastic cup. This will help protect it. A raccoon will just knock it off though.
