Anyone still killing any in the East TN area? Was thinking about just walking around one of the WMA fields and seeing if I could kick up some birds, at least enough for a meal.
had a friend call me to say his dad sewed his field in wheat and doves were coming into it. drove by there today and the power lines were sagging from all the doves!
Well if he is worried about his power tell him to give me a call I will take a few of them off. I hunted earlier and didn't see a one at Forks of the River, I did get a couple of geese to turn towards me with some calling but I had no decoys. Might have to go back out with some feeders and see if I can kill a couple geese.
