Dove Season

Morning hunting is great, but for the most part, when you shoot a field in the morning it is basically done for the season. You can shoot a field in the evenings, quit shooting in time for birds to come in and feed and get several evenings of shooting in a season if you spread out the days enough.

Rukiddin, the absolute best most awesome dove shoot I have ever seen in Tennessee was on a silage field that had been cut 1-1/2 months before the day we shot it. More birds than the governors shoot, this was about 20 years ago, I will never forget it.

Rukiddin, the absolute best most awesome dove shoot I have ever seen in Tennessee was on a silage field that had been cut 1-1/2 months before the day we shot it. More birds than the governors shoot, this was about 20 years ago, I will never forget it. One of the kids was shooting for the first time, he shot 16 boxes of shells and finally killed 7. I killed a limit the quickest I ever have and watched.
