Isn't everyone in Blount and Loudon? I think 3 different people have invited me to a Loudon county TWRA field this week. Hope the birds are flying for you and at least get a mile in before the natives get trigger happy.

I had the best opener I've had in years. Shot 10 times at doves! Serious - that's the best opening day I've had in probably 30 years. I hit 7 and recovered 6 though so that made me feel good. One day we'll have corn in my farm and this will all change!

Had a great hunt in loudon county.boo on the folks coming in 3:00 or later & think its ok to set down beside you.took a limit & a collard dove .will go for the same tommorrow

Shot a private field in Riceville yesterday, got there at 1:00, limited at 3:00, birds started flying good at 4:00. Hunting a private farm in Loudon county today.

Hunted with Mike243 yesterday. Also had my nephew and his 14yr old son along. It was the first dove hunt for either of them. We took home 24 dove.Yea I don`t care for the Johnny come lately that try to horn in.
By the way I don`t wanna give him the big head or nuffin but I saw Mike243 double twice yesterday.

Met Mike this morning and left around 11 the doves just did not fly.

Went to a leased field in Robertson County, ended up with 10. Birds were flying pretty good( no barrel melter though) had a lot of fun. BTW has anyone hunted Cheatham this year? A friend of mine and I are looking at going this weekend anyo e know if it is worth the trip?
