Dove field wanted.

Maybe a little to early but hey, the early bird gets the worm. I was hoping to get in on a field this year within 2 hours of cleveland. It will be I and my Dad. We both have dove hunted for a very long time. Havent gotten a place since moving to tn.

theres allways a bunch of TWRA rented feilds down your way,ck the TWRA website in the 2 weeks leading up to the opening & they will post the info & sometimes just a day or so before,there is allways some payfeilds open also,hope ya have a great hunt,mike243

I never sit right in the middle, I usually try to get where birds are entering and leaving the fields. not many pay fields round here. Beggers cant be chosers but the TWRA fields werent my cup of tea with some of the goobers out there.

if the birds start to fly heavy i love the middle of the field. But thats just me. I can't wait it makes me sick to think about the wait.

i went to a field in greene co. last year where i dodged more shot than i did shooting until the men in green came and took away the goobers as you like to call them first time i ever heard clapping in a dove field!

what pisks me off is nimrods trying to kill barn swallows ect,now dont get me wrong i will bust a crow but no protected birds,i carried all them hulls out there & i carry them all back out too shot or not shot.i leave the feild in as good of shape or better when i leave ,1 good thing about the slob shooters is you can tell where the birds were flying the day before :) mike243

Buckblaster,,,I also live in cleveland and we drove to AEDC last year and had a good shot,,,the TWRA fields around here suck,,,they used to lease 1 in Meigs Co. just above Decatur that was great but I don't know why they don't any more,,,there's a field in south Bradley we shot after opening day last year that had some good shooting,,,I'm going to check it out this year for the opener.

I was at that field after opening day last year? I left early that morn. instead of stayin cuz the birds werent doing much and went to yuchi.
