I was fortunate yesterday morning to take two deer. The doe walked out at 7:39 a.m. and gave me a quartering away shot. Twenty minutes later the buck walked out with his nose to the ground on the same trail the doe came in on. I shot both deer within one yard of each other. The doe ran about 50 yards and the buck about 15 yards. Luckily after shooting the doe, i listened to hear what direction she ran (super thick where i hunt). She didn't leave a good blood trail, i found her pilled up in a briar patch. It was a fun morning! Looking forward to some deer jerky.
