A buddy and I picked up 11 acres that an older lady owns. It's all hardwoods and super thick. Went the Thursday before Christmas and walked it and put out corn and a cam. This is in Ky and is legal, but i'm not hunting the property anyways. 928 pics in just 9 days and had 4 decent bucks come through. one would probably be 130" 10 pt if his one side matched.

This buck has the most character though. Not real big but i hope he hangs around in the summer and fall next year to see what he'll grow in to.

He just got his hairra did, lol. Young buck. Like to see what they look like a couple years down the road.
Really hope i can keep him around for that long to see! It's 11 acres of very thick hardwoods that hasn't been hunted in at least 15 yrs. Bad thing is it's only 11 acres and i can't keep him tied up on it ;)

...and you won't. He may spend most of his days in there though except for when the rut draws him out. Time will tell.
